Fixed Rate Update Released
Great news for hedge exchange votaries! Recently we’ve updated the fix rate feature on the ChangeNOW crypto exchange platform. The changes touched upon interface, as well as transaction time, exchange limits, and the size of the rates during a fixed rate exchange.
Just To Remind You: What Are Fixed and Floating Rates?
When exchanging crypto, you can apply a floating rate to your transaction – in this case, the rate will be determined by the market and can change during the exchange process, making the amount of crypto you get less predictable. Applying a fixed rate would mean that you will get the exact amount of crypto you expect, regardless of market fluctuations, as the exchange rate will be frozen for several minutes.

New Fixed Rate Mode Features
With the new update comes transaction speed boost – your exchange is now proceeded faster, nonetheless allowing for the same security and privacy as before. We also made the exchange rates more beneficial for the user and raised the exchange limits.
The update involves several nifty interface improvements. First of all, picking a fixed rate exchange option initiates a 2-min countdown, which is reflected in a form of a snug clock above the final exchange amount. While this clock is ticking, you are guaranteed to receive the exact sum displayed.
On ChangeNOW, a small lock icon indicates that your transaction is happening with a fixed rate. The same tiny lock is pegged to currencies that are available for fixed rate transactions on the ChangeNOW currencies page. As of September, 1 2021, you can exchange 26 coins at a fixed rate, including BTC, ETH, BNB(BEP2), DOGE, XRP, DOT, and others.
The fixed rate update is available both on the web version of ChangeNOW and on iOS/Android-based mobile devices. The new perks also work through our API v2 and v1.
